How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

No, not dead... yet! xD

Ok folks, here I am... new lab, new coworkers, new city, new country.
It has been fun but also a lot for hard work. I still feel a bit lost, still gotta find my own apartment and I still have lots and lots of paper and forms to fill up, but that's pretty much it!
I hope to get an internet connection pretty soon, and also to buy myself a new tablet so I can re-start to draw and paint.
Until that, I think I won't be able to upload anything new here to my DA account.
Anyways, I do miss DA a lot!

Good luck to you in adapting and such. .o. It must be hard, I remember when I moved overseas, it was all so crazy and I was like 8 then.xD
Must be a lot more work having to move your whole life.

Yeah, it's totally crazy indeed.
The hardest part is to rent an apartment since french people require a "garant" (someone who takes responsability for your rent if you don't pay correctly). Since I'm overseas and my hole family lives in Brazil, I have no one to be my garant! I'm in France for 2 weeks... not enough time for a solid friendship with someone so he/she would accept this kind of responsability!
French people from location agencies are crazy! xD

Aquela tablet eu tinha comprado aqui na França. Aí, quando o Leon soube que eu vinha morar aqui, ele me pediu pra vender ela pra ele. Assim eu fiz. Mas hoje cedo passei na loja onde eu tinha comprado e ela nao tava mais em estoque. Talvez eu compre pela fnac da internet e mande entregar em casa pelo correio (ainda mais pq anteontem eu finalmente consegui abrir pra mim uma conta no banco!)

Muito obrigada mesmo pela força! Estou aqui meio perdida, acessando internet escondida no serviço ou pagando acesso em netcafés... vida meio complicada ainda.

Mas assim que eu conseguir um ap pra mim, tudo fica mais simples! Espero encontrar com todos no msn em breve!
